Semarang (April 9th, 2023) – The Aquatic Resources Management Study Program, Department of Aquatic Resources, Faculty of Fisheries and Marine Science, Diponegoro University has carried out the social activity “MSP Berbagi”. MSP Berbagi is one of the work programs in Community Service of the Aquatic Resources Student Association which provides a number of basic necessities. The assistance will be given to the community, especially to people who directly impact the rising prices of basic commodities, such as street cleaners, pedicab drivers, beggars, newsboys, and so on. This activity is expected to increase the sense of caring as fellow human beings.
This activity was carried out in two places, namely Al-Amanah Orphanage Mangunharjo and the area around Tembalang. This orphanage has more than 30 children who are fostered starting from elementary to high school children which are dominated by boys. Al-Amanah Mangunharjo Orphanage is one of the orphanages that is visited by many organizations as a place to spread kindness.
The children are very happy if an event is held at the orphanage, they can get to know many people and not get bored with the activities at the orphanage, “said one of the caregivers. Hopefully, this social activity can be helpful and blessed.
